The California-based artist and architectural photographer made several trips to Thingstätten in northern and western Germany in 2014 as part of the interdisciplinary Art & Science project, often in a team with Hendrik Lüders, as well as Philipp Robien and Katharina Bosse. He uses a visual style reminiscent of film noir, which also lends a cinematic, somewhat timeless atmosphere to locations well known to a contemporary audience, such as the Waldbühne in Berlin, or the Kalkbergbühne in Bad Segeberg.Daniel Mirer personal Website
