The stage was opened in 1937 by Goebbels as a National Socialist Thingstätte under the name of “Nordmark celebration site”.
This photography portfolio was created in 2014 as part of the interdisciplinary art & science project “Thingstätten“. A critical exploration of a problematic past and the significance of a culture of remembrance.
